Earthquake Information     A strong earthquake has occured with these revised parameters:     Time of Occurrence : 8.15 pm at 11 March 2011     Coordinates : 37.5 North 141.5 East     Location : Near East Coast of Honshu, Japan. 251 km northeast of Tokyo,Japan, 4218 km northeast of Kudat, Sabah.      Magnitude : 6.2 on Richter scale     Assessment     No tsunami threat to Malaysia          This will be the final information issued by the department for this event unless there are further developments or additional information becomes available
